Classroom  of the Future

                                                   Science Classroom of the Future opens with a Big Bang.

Pat Bailey  Professor of Chemistry from Keele University opened the finished classroom on July 13th to invited guests from school partnerships, science heads, LA advisors and governors of the school.

The City Learning Centres have been working closely with James Brindley Science College to develop a Classroom of the Future with a Science technology focus and have repurposed an existing learning space and populated it with new emergent  technologies.

Digital Microscopes, ipods, graphic tablets, podcasting equipment and flipcams.  As part of the project the classroom is refurnished with seating and desks plus a "state-of-the-art" Interactive WhiteBoard complete with a Learner Response System and Visualiser.
